1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat
2. Add black rice, onion, and almonds
3. Cook and stir until rice is lightly toasted.
4. Add water and bouillon cube. Bring to a boil, Reduce heat to low.
5. Cover and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 25-30 minutes.
